The facilities are leased to Arendal Fiskemottak AS, a company owned by local fishermen. There is sale of locally caught fish and shellfish on site, a cozy cafe and restaurant, storage rooms, quays, shore power, and fuel available.
The rescue boat has a fixed berth at the location and the Rescue Company rents premises for its course activity in Barbu.
