Eydehavn terminal

Port of Arendal's traffic terminal is located at Eydehavn, Tromøysund in one of the fastest growing regions in Norway. From here it is a short distance to Denmark and the European continent.

 Technical information

Eydehavn terminal has several quays incl. deep-water quay with a short deviation from the open sea and high quay strength. It is an efficient port that can take in large ships up to Panamax size. The terminal handles general cargo, ro-ro, containers, dry and wet bulk using efficient handling equipment.

Eydehavn terminal is ice-free and has little tidal range.

Eastern approach

Minimum depth of 25 meters at the entry. Wide and very well marked. No height restrictions. Tidal effect less than 14 cm.

Deviation from the open sea is 2 n.mil.
